Starting off my first daily game talk is one of my favorite games of all time. FE6 is the corest of core memories for me. I remember playing Melee with my older brother and cousin and seeing Marth & Roy changed the trajectory of my life. I wanted to play their games so bad, and at the time I think Shadow Dragon had either just came out or we were still waiting for that game. There was a day my cousin was stayin over for the weekend; they were playing FE6 on the home computer and I was instantly entranced.
That was in like 2009 or 2010 something like that and since then every couple of years I always do a playthrough. Usually I do it whenever I get a new laptop or computer as since I was a kid the second I would get a new computer I would just get emulators and FE6, 7, and 8. A little side rant but for some reason FE7 and 8 just don't hit the same. FE7 lowkey sucks so thats not a hot take but FE8 has so much more content and polish it seems weird for me to like 6 more. Something about the FE8 starting chapters are the most BOOOORING chapters of FE of all time. I usually get bored of a playthrough by the time Ephraim and Erika seperate. Plus again FE6 has Roy how can you beat that?
This playthrough started because I live in New York City and I need something to do when I'm on the train or waiting. I was reading this book called "Cherry"(depressing af) and without a lil activity Im tweaking on the train. The ROM I'm using this playthrough doesnt have the english patch but (flex) I dont need it since I've played through this a billion times. With those a billion playthroughs tho IVE NEVER HAD LUGH DIE TWICE TO THE SAME FIRE TILE THIS GAME IS SO STUPID SOMETIMES.
One thing I will say about this game is that while I love the map design visually (Chapter 16x and Chapter 14x are the most beautiful maps of all time) they SUCK SO MUCH to play sometimes. I'm gonna wait to get further in the game before I really talk about as there will come points in this playthrough that I'll wanna talk about it on here.
Thats about it for todays update :p If you read my music message of the day I actually am writing this in the middle of my Networking class. This website is so cool and its crazy that I just found it as I was looking for something like this for so long. I can't wait to get better at my display and really get in the swing of things. I also got comments working!!(kinda) I ended up just using guestbooks but honestly I kinda fuck with it.
